The flu vaccine recommended and approved for the Southern Hemisphere is the trivalent form. News online also indicates that the 3-strain flu vaccine has been recommended for the Northern Hemisphere from Sept 2024.
The quadrivalent flu vaccine will still be available, as it was approved for the 2023/2024 season and is still being used in some countries.
